Post by: maninthestreet on October 28, 2009, 08:02:06 pm
I watched this last night - anyone know the London Model shop he visited that seemed to have a very large selection of plastic kits?

Hannants? Didn't watch the show but they're the biggest in this country.

You might be right:

Looks very much like the interior of the shop in the programme.

I enjoy his programs. Next week is suitable for Hospital patients. He's doing 'Plasticine' models and flowers.   :D

We wish you the best of luck with your visit, Angie. Have a break from Mark.   ok2

initially plum pictures asked us for our input , we gave it to them, - they did not like what we told them so they did their own thing !!!

hence the fiasco !- but should make interesting TV, i guess there will be alot of footage on the cutting room floor !

I agree, I visit the Holborn shop all the time and while we were watching my wife said "hey, isn't that the model shop in Holborn?". Not conclusive evidence but thought I'd mention it.

I hope it does encourage a new generation of modellers out there.
