Title: HMS Campbeltown, and tugs
Post by: bikemec on October 31, 2009, 08:07:30 am
looking through some photos and saw these thought some might like to see them.
They were taken as we were staying on Davaar Island when HMS Campbeltown was visiting Campbeltown,

Well, the area does seem to have changed that much since I was last there, 44 summers ago on HMS Dee except, that it's not puring with rain as it was then.

Brought back memories of when I was on board her during her sea trials.  We did a courtesy call into Campbeltown.
