Title: Dwarf car racing southern style
Post by: grandad on November 06, 2009, 02:28:48 am
got myself in a slight bit of a non modeling situation here
anyone here ever seen a dirt track stock car (Tho they are not truely stock cars)
In recent months my son has bought out 2 dwarf car outfits and intends to run 4 tracks a week with the team and naturally dad (me) will be expected to run the outfit while my son and his team driver does most of the actual work on the cars zI will be expected to do the promotionsl gig like PRing the tean to get national recogniation
I am asking my buddys I am 66 years old with a bad ticker    ~~~ should I dod it?
I love to watch my son race and the excitment of having 2 cars on the track at the same time is nerve racking at best
oh by the way~~~ a Dwarf car is a 5/th scaled down replica of  1932 to 1940 fords and chevys running 1100 susaki and honda motorcycle engines with the speed capibility of over 150 miles per hour

your son must be very small, and is it  model 1100 susaki and honda motorcycle engines because 1/5 th scale is about 2' foot 6" long ? and do you mean the engines in the bikes can do 150 mph? or is your son only the size of  Action man ?

Not vintage cars by any stretch of the imagination. They are a very modern class of racing cars.

You can post through Photobucket no problem as long as you dont move them about in Photobucket as they will disappear on the forum.

Put your photos on Photobucket then click on "IMG Code", once this is highlighted right click on it and copy.

Then paste link on your Mayhem post.

Job done. :-))
