Title: Dulcibelle
Post by: Nordsee on November 23, 2009, 04:13:48 pm
I am enclosing a photo of the Dulcibelle, she is a model of a '30s pleasure yacht. The original plan was intended as a Project for young people, she is a relatively simple hard Chine craft with a Bermudan Rig which sails extremely well with a 2 channel radio,no winch needed as she is only 70cms long.
Needless to say she has been enlarged and altered and is now available with plans for 5 different Rigs, all useing the same boat that can be exchanged as you wish.
My version is plus 25%, which is still a bit small, plus 40% gives you 1metre, which is more useful. I think there was an article in one of the Model Mags a couple of years ago. has anyone built her over there? Would like to know, here at just about every Regatta you will find a "Dulcie" variant!
