Hi All
Has anyone got a clue as to which scale crew and seats i should be looking to fit my sons first boat - a hfm pilot boat please?
any help gratefully recieved!

If your boat is about 2 foot long the scale will be 1:20 as this boat was based on the Nelson 40 pilot boat.

any ideas for the best place to look for a pair of seats and a captain? or is it best to have a go myself?.Just a bit consious of time till christmas as someone will be looking forward to this one!

George Turner does 1:24 fgures, 1:20 is an awkward scale.

Seats you will have to make yourself. :-))

I once owned a HFM pilot boat that had seats already fitted to the inside of the wheelhouse (they came with the kit) , I am not sure why you are asking for seats ?

The kit was purchased second hand off ebay and a few items were missing hence the need to find some seats,i think i'll make up a pair from epoxy sheet with some black foam for cushion bases.

I think my model is still with a friend on the north end of the island, I will email him to try to get some photos / dimensions of the seats if that will help you.
