Title: Resin model kits
Post by: submate on November 27, 2009, 03:07:21 pm
I have seen advertised 2 model sub kits. 1: X craft 1/72 scale. 2: biber 1/72 scale.

Are these any good for conversion?  %)

Your comments and observations please.

Too small, too dense, & too heavy to successfully convert IMHO.

No.

Couldn't you have been a little less verbose?

A warm welcome indeed to the world of radio control submarines! Submate is obviously a pretty new member to the forum and that's hardly a greeting from an established member, now is it?

Fine. Look go and buy a pair, and when they arrive, and you find you have the task of rc-ing the equivalent of a cigar tube in dimensions, you can refer to Simon and Fred, and they can whisper sweet words of encouragement into your ear.
