Title: Fuse and Switch placement.
Post by: packy46 on December 04, 2009, 10:32:25 pm

Hello All:
Need help to finalize my wiring.
I have two 720 BB motors (For propulsion), and two geared 400 motors.  (For a working ramp.) The LCM will have three SLA’s  two in parallel for drive, one for bow ramp and lights.
My main motors are running off two 40 Amp ESC's. My ramp motors will run off the third ESC separately. See avatar for ramp.
Reading posts from April 09  I found some great info on fuse placement and size. but as far as on / off switches where should I correctly place them. And what amperage should they be.

Thanks
Tim

Put the switch immediately after the battery positive terminal, the switch should be rated to suit the max current in the circuit, ie at least the size of the fuse you use.
