I was following a pair of metal bending bars on ebay, they went for £29, a bit pricey.
I would like a pair, and have tracked down a manufacturer, same thing but only £18.50 (7'') or £20.50 (13'')
Also a rivet simulator punching machine, basically for model railway people but I know some of us just love rivets

I made my own bending bars.
Two lengths of 10mm mild steel, loosely connected with a nut and bolt at one end. Mine are about 750mm long but you can make them as long or as short as you like. I know the ones I used many years ago were just one length bent back on themselves with a springy "O" at the end but mine work fine.
Works for me!

I used similar to roger for some years, two pieces of 1" X 1" x 12" of angle iron . I also made a shorter set. put one end in a vice and the other I use a "G"clamp and a bit of wood to do the bending it was great for brass etc, I Finlay put a couple of pins at the ends to make it easy to line the top edges up cheap and cheerful
