Title: Cervia - First scratch build
Post by: Billyruffian on January 16, 2010, 03:46:55 pm
This is my very first scratch build and has been built using the Cervia build in the Masterclass scetion.

This section and Bluebirds tireless help has been fantastic.  John is not only a great modeller but also a fantastic teacher.  Without his help this would not have been completed.

I have attached some pictures and whilst not 100% complete, I am extremely proud of the end result.

Just shows what a great source of help and info this forum is.

Glad you're proud of it, you deserve to be!

It's got the right 'feel' to it.

Cyril I am very impressed at your model - I am stumped  for words mate - but I would like to say that it has been no problem whatsoever offering any advice, the model is a credit to you!   It is good to see that the thread has been such a good build to follow.  I am sure you will have as much pleasure sailing her; as you have had building her.
