...Good Evening Guys...
Here are some pictures of our latest additions to the fleet of The Saltire Towing Company of Glasgow...
"WALLACE" , "BRUCE" and "ARGYLE" are 3 icdentical sisters based on a Canadian tug called "ISLAND DEFENDER"...
They will be Single Screw Tugs powered by a Marx 12 volt Hectoperm Motor driving a 95mm Kort prop in a Steerable Kort Nozzle...Working Bow THruster & Towing Winch will also be fitted...

That's a lot of red ink there Norry, has 'Oor Wullie' upset you?
I think Wullie's 'question' could be justified, given the shape of the bow and the 'advertising material' displayed in the first photgraph.
You may have carried out a clever bit of recycling to produce the model.

...Hi Guys...
There are a few tugs in this class...All of varying Lengths & Breadths...
The tug that we are basing our build on is the "ISLAND DEFENDER" which is owned by "The Island Tug & Barge Compnay" of Vancouver Island..
Here is part of the plan that they sent to me...
The Hulls that we are using were moulded by a modeller who came up to the 3rd Scottish Tug-In at Richmond Park in Glasgow last year...
They were originally 32" long but have been Cut & Shut to 26" long...
