Title: Airbrushing
Post by: funtimefrankie on January 25, 2010, 01:21:51 pm
Just bought an airbrush kit off ebay. It came with two airbrushes. A gravity one and a bottom feed.
Just practicing so far with the top/gravity feeder.

What are the diferences between the two, apart from the obvious. When would you use one or the other or is it just personal preference?

Got the two air brushes and the compressor with air tank of £78 all in.

I would use the gravity for fine detailing and the bottom for spraying large areas. The gravity has a smaller cup so you can put measured amounts in, whereas with the bottom feed you attach a large paint cup on.

Here's my Revell Flex to demonstrate...
