Hi all
I wonder if anyone can help? About 1 year ago I got some very good unpainted resin tug crew figures which included engineers in boiler suits. They were all fairly fat figures and included a skipper in full uniform together with a deckhand coiling a rope.
I have now lost the sales slip and cant seem to find them on the net. Anyone got any ideas where to get them from and who is the maker?

Try your local toy shops for cheap plastic painted farmyard and/or coyboy figures. They're virtually 1:32 scale, weigh nought and are realistic looking to the extent that some can be used 'as is' . Others can be modified by the simple expedient of trimming off accouterments (who wants a gunslinger as a deckhand) or by amputating a limb/s and re-pinning in the desired position.
Fotos below (hopefully) should give you some idea of what can be achieved without undue hassle.

Thanks to all those who responded. It seems the figures I was looking for were from George Turner but they have now been discontinued.
I'll just need to get busy with a scalpel and filler.

Thats a shame, the ad I saw recently on there web site showed them ready painted, I didn't have that luxury when I bought mine, maybe they didn't sell well so they tried painting them yo see if they would sell better. Here are two of mine in this post, the others in the set got sold with other tugs.

An alternative source of crew in 1/32nd 1/35th scale is plastic soldiers of the Tamiya and Trumpeter variety. There are now a huge number of tank crews and soldiers in various poses, many of which can be used to convert to civilian duties and a lot come with useful accessories.

Britains Farm Characters are 1/32 scale...Some of them are quite easily adapted...In fact the first picture looks like the wee guy who holds a Hay Fork in his hands...

Hi Guys I produce over 40 reisin figures in three scales 1/32-1/24 and 1/48 plus hundreds of other resin products ie deck clutter fish etc to many to list. Brian

Anyone know where I get more of these 'Britains 'figures, either on-line or via Mail Order -they're not available locally.

Hi I build a lot in 1/32 and I use the plastic model kits Dragon Trumpiter etc and even use the Scalextrix figures and the Carrer slot car figures as well big range now going to use the George Turner figures on te next build tassie48.
