Nice looking boats!!
I'm not familiar with these - what scale / size are they?

I like the wheelhouse - I'm not great with windows and angles!

Hi
Spindrift is 1/28 length 39? beam 12? Phantom 1/32 length 45? beam 12? the superstructure is a one-piece GRP. I must say at first I was a little apprehensive with all those windows on the Spindrift. I needn?t have been the superstructure comes with all windows and doors clearly marked out. The total weight of the spindrift is 33lbs with batteries.(http://mysite.wanadoo-members.co.uk/model-boats/images/6-picture2.jpg?0.6262068264021448

Nice model.

The original used to live on the lower Clyde and I sawe her quite often when I was younger.

There are some photos of her, and of the Phantom on this link:

The Flying Phantom is still in service on the Clyde, based at James Watt Dock in Greenock.

Hi Brian,

The Spindrift looks as good in the water as she does out, good to hear she handled well, soory I didn't get down on Sunday to see her.
