Does anyone know of any alternate scale paint sceme for this kit, or even alternate builds for this kit?

Hi just a suggestion but Billings do a similar kit to Krabbencutter, they also have several other fishing boats in their range which might suit.
Failing that a friend of mine used the Graupner hull and built the Billings 'Lilla Dan' , which sails very nicely.

It's a fishing boat. You can paint it any colour you like: try pictures of fishing boats to find a scheme you like. It's your boat, after all. Equally if you want the wheelhouse forrard and the hatch aft, or whatever, it's up to you. I'm building a Perkasa - I don't want to compete with all the other Perkasas out there so mine's going to be a Huang Feng/Osa FAC missile boat. Mind you, I've got to get the missiles lined up right: I wouldn't want to get bad Huang Feng Shui.

The important thing is to have fun. I hope you do. :D
