Any feedback on this kit. Is it a good quality kit? Thinking of it for my next build.
Thanks, Ken

read the recent posts about there other boat the Huntsman, I think they all said it was a load of rubbish, poor or undersized timber, you would be better of buying a good hull from the likes of kingston Mouldings and building from that cost less and a better job.

If you want a decent Perkasa kit then how about one of these?

Unfortunately, as HS93 says, the Precedent kit suffers from worn-out tooling, poor presentation and lousy timber. Most I've seen have just used the GRP hull and rebuilt the superstructure from scratch. There are also no fittings included.
Trading on past glories? Shame, really.

hi i am building the precident perkasa not overly impressed but well into the build now just building the superstructure ordered a lot of resin parts from nautical marine models very good parts looks much better than the wooden ones supplied with the kit mine is the wooden hull should have gone for the fiberglass one a lot less work?

Hi Guys
I am building the bigger version. I didn't know you could make fibreglass so thin,
Scrap box full of die stamped ply, the two sides are different sizes and one sheet
has actually been stamped off the edge leaving incomplete parts.
Should have cut my losses and binned it from the first but it has turned into a sort of
semi scratch build challenge.
Cheers
