Has anybody built the new Metcalf Mouldings kit of the Avenger or sister ship Hibernia yet?

No not yet butwould love to looks like a very good kit also the Lady Laura looks good wish i had both and even betterf thay was 1:24  but then lifes never perfect  Sentry.

I like working 1/32 scale, this boat at 24th scale would be to big for most people.

That's the same Avenger that's now owned by Purvis Marine here in Canada, isn't it?

Thats correct, I found it by accident, because I'm allways on boatnerd,seeing what is happening on the lakes, being an ex Manchester Liners deck Officer I have fond memories of Canada, before CY Tung "xxxxx" up the company by buying it.

Beautiful looking model, but yes I agree with Andywright, it is a bit too big forme. Time it is ballasted down to its marks, I would need a crane or Popeyes spinach to cope with it.
