Hi,
I,m currently constructing a 1/12 scale atlantic 75 R.I.B and i would like to use the foam lagging to simulate the air bag that goes round the hull. The question is has anybody painted the foam/rubber?

Hi Destroyer,
I first tried it with the silver/aluminium looking foam which I found to be a b****r. The release agent did not seem to want to budge, so I ended up with using an etch primer to try and clear it and then Plasticote paint. This seemed to hold.
I have recently tried a black foam which is more flexible but which has a matt finish which seems to take the same paint pretty well without the flaking off from the first one.
Best of luck anyway.
