Hi All,Thanks Martin for the welcome,i am downunder ( Australia) where the water goes down the plughole the other way, lets hope that my boats dont follow.
What have i been up to in the last 60 years or so, well i was trying to build boats from MAP plans when i was a teenager ,no money, they were pretty crude ,got a steam engine and a boiler but it never went into a boat, went down the live steam loco road for 40 years, built 10 locos 5 & 7 1/4",2 half size traction engines and now i have come back to where i started ,a lot wiser i hope.I recently built a clyde puffer from original plans given to me by an old scot who worked on ships in Scotland,i made it 1/19 scale and plated and rivet detailed the hull in aluminium sheet, finishing touches yet  to be done,i am planing to do an open launch to  the Dianna drawings i have from Live Steam mag back in 1976..enough chat ..back to the workshop
Cheers
Peter
