Title: JJC Electronics Mini Ships Radar
Post by: The long Build on March 12, 2010, 09:59:29 pm
I realise that JJc are no longer
but I have one of these kits but do not have the Micro Stepper Motor..

My question is are these motors a standard type or a special motor and can they still be obtained assuming that JJc did not actually make the motors to go with the Electronic Controller.

and if i was able to get hold of a motor are the units anygood anyway

Hi
Modelmotors direct Sold the same units as JJC about 12 or more years ago at ellesmere port
modeboat show, it was the only show he sold them at.
I wish ACTION would produce them as on 1/24 scale models you can hid the motor inside the
Radar unit it self and not in the wheel house roof,

OK - find us a reliable  source of these little motors and we'll think about it.  8)
