Been reading this forum for a while and decided to join.  I am Ray and am in Waco, Texas, 66 years old, retired.  Have RC Boats: Tugs, Stern Wheeler, Scratch built Tow Boat  and a Steam Launch (Fantail with Heritage Oscillator from Midwest).  Like to call myself a Hobby trying to be Machinist.  Built a few steam engines and tools.  Love to read about people building boats and engines.  Thanks for letting me join.  Hope one day I will be able to contribute something useful to the forum.  Ray

Hi Ray and welcome. I'm sure your expertise will be needed by someone soon. As they say 'all contributions gratefully received'.

Welcome Ironman. What we like here is loads of pictures.

Can I start the ball rolling by asking for some views of you Stern Wheeler please.

Ken

OK, Ken.  It is just a Dumas Queen Creole with electric power.  Here are a few pics.  I thought about making it steam power with a 2 cylinder horizontal.  (Still thinking about it). Ironman

Thank you for that, Ironman.

I've always fancied making one of these as I'm not really a sailor, more a builder. These do seem to have more than their fair share of top decoration and look quite attractive.

Cheers

Ken
