Title: Toy boats Exhibition at the National Maritime Museum
Post by: dougal99 on May 08, 2010, 01:51:16 pm
There is an article on this exhibition in today's Daily Telegraph. Although the focus seemed to be on 'toy boats' I was wondering if it might be of interest to boat modellers. Has anyone been to see the exhibition and if so what are your views? It's a way to travel for me and being a posb so and so I'd hate to splash out and be disappointed.

Cheers

Doug

Is it a special event or is it talking about the existing collections of model ships? The NMM collection of Period ships is very impressive to people (like me) who like and build them. a lot are the original admiralty ones.

Thanks for that Dickie. Should have thought of the internet myself. Another (occurring too often) senior moment  <:(
