Completed today. Built this one after reading the book AROUND CAPE HORN by Charles G. Davis about a voyage he made in this ship in 1897. The plans were in the book, plus a good photograph of the ship.

Another great minature.
I don't suppose Mrs Positive could do a tutorial on how she does the water.

It is only plasticine painted with Humbrol enamels appllied when wet so the colours run. The knowledge of how it is done is really not much help. I can't paint them very well either although I have watched it done often enough. The waves are rolled with a plastic bead on a stick and that part is easy enough.
