Title: Aberdeen Pilot Boat No2
Post by: ixion on June 13, 2010, 08:22:24 pm
Evening,

Does anyone have any recent photos of 'Aberdeen Pilot Boat No2'. I am trying to clarify the colour of the deck, in the 3 pictures I can find on the net it seems to have a Grey deck although this could be atrick of the light. Is it painted Grey or is it planked wood?
Thanks.

Varnished wood is the way she was in the 1990's

All photos I have seen when building mine - treated wood - not grey painted.

Thanks to everyone that has replied. I think it must be atrick of the light in the two photos I have seen.

Hello Jim
Glad you drew that plan and had it published - mine isn't 100% but always gets a good comment at the pond. Need to redo the electronics and get it back out there.
Regards,
Mike (vancouver island)
