Title: Bait Boat Punch Up.
Post by: hazmat on June 23, 2010, 11:33:09 pm
Passing a stretch of river just outside of Boston (Lincs) we saw three maggot drowner's having a punch up whilst a crowd from a local pub looked on.  :police:

The reason. . . . .
One of the three had been using a bait boat and had upset someone to such an extent that another fisherman had checked a brick at the bait boat.  {:-{

The good news . . . . .
The boat was OK (He missed) :D

The fun bit. . . . .
The brick thrower had been chucked into the river!!!!!!!!!! >>:-(

End result . . . . .
A punch up! <*<

Conclusions . . . . .
The gentle relaxing sport of course fishing is a dangerous pastime  :(( and . . . .
It appears fishermen can't lob bricks accurately :-)).

Blimey! You've just ruined all my pre-conceptions.
And there was I thinking that all folk in Lincolnshire were as nice as their local accent.

Never again shall I whinge about Somerset.
