It would make a brilliant boating pool though Dickie, don't you agree? Probably couldn't afford the entrance fee though!!! <:( <:( <:( (let alone the air fare!)

WOW!!! that is one amazing pool, imagine if it sprung a leak ;D
I must agree it would definitely make a hell of a boating pool though
wonder how they got away without any obvious safety rails there?
-
Wonder if there's any "No water skiing" signs or "No Diving"
Regards Ian.

they should run cable skiing comps on that thing it would be long enough and the photos would be out of this world (nearly literally)
the stacks would also be pretty spectacular :-))

I'd need to turn up my oxygen supply just to be up there Danny.

Had a swim in a pool on the 22nd floor in Hong Kong and got frazzed by the sun - in that pool you're even closer!
And what happens when your beach ball goes over the edge? - helluva walk to fetch it!
-
Can you imagine powering upto the edge and swimming clean over the top! like seals do on the beach, Wow! Do you think you would be dry by the time you hit the road?
-
Wow, just wait til I tell the wife, I found her a new outdoor pool to swim with a better view than Windermere..
-
A great location for Foss Cup?? :D

The edge of the pool is not on the edge of the building. It just looks that way due to camera angle. Below the lip of the pool is rooftop, and this has a rail. You can just make it out if you look at the second and third photos in the Daily Mail link. I have enlarged here. It looks like a catchment trough of about 0.5m or more (to catch the water), and then what looks like a walkway of about 2m (think there may be a person walking on it in the pic but cannot see clearly), and a rail.

All in all and human nature it is an accident waiting to happen. <:( <:( :police: :police:
