Just a quick link to our club site. http://www.potteriesmbc.co.uk/ (http://www.potteriesmbc.co.uk/) We mainly meet on Wednesday and Sunday mornings at Westport Lake post code ST6 4RZ http://www.stoke.gov.uk/ccm/content/et/environment-team/westport-lake.en (http://www.stoke.gov.uk/ccm/content/et/environment-team/westport-lake.en). The lake is in a public park and nature reserve and can be accessed whenever gates are open, usually dawn until dusk all year round. There is a visitors centre near to the sailing area with a small cafe and toilet facilities, there is full disabled access to the lake and centre. There is aslo a great playground for the children. The Trent and Mersey canal also runs by the lake. Other lakes in the area are used occasionally for different events, these are detailed on our website. A list of club events can also be found on the site. Hope to see some new faces at the lakeside, Dave. :-) :-) :-)

POTTERIES MBC NAVY DAY: 7th August 2011 10am-4pm, Westport Lake, Stoke-on-Trent, ST6 4RZ. (close to M6 J15 or J16, just off the A500).
Good facilities, ample free parking lakeside (there maybe a club member collecting for charity on the day, any contributions welcome), cafe, toilets and good access for everyone. Large playground for children and lots of nice walks through the nature reserve. Potteries Shopping Centre is short drive away for the 'non-boating' travellers and is open as usual on Sundays. Everyone welcome, the more the merrier!
Full details will be on the website soon: http://www.potteriesmbc.co.uk/index.html
