Some help if possible please.
My understanding is that the dark scheme was a B15 panel on the hull side, same colour as deck.Remainder of Hull side white.
Warship Perspectives volume three by Alan Raven indicates the side colours were B15, G45 and white.
Any comments would be appreciated.

Official RN camo documents in my possession are consistent with Raven. If you have a photo of the boat in question that you can post here, I'll have a look.

Hi John,
Thanks for comment i have no photo but will follow Raven info for hull sides based on your comment. I am building 1/24 scale early boat,no torpedo scallops.
Almost ready to start painting.Waiting for weather to get a little warmer.

I'm looking forward to your pics too Gra. My D is up for a tart-up this winter.

Hi Poddy and Mark
Your putting the pressure on i hope i can deliver. Can you tell me what brand of paint you used on your yet to be tarted up D.
I have painted some fittings with a mix of Humbrol 23&65 for G45 and 96&109 for B15.

I didn't paint mine Gra, however, I did ask that question. It was painted with White Ensign paints. I note that one of the replies here is from the proprietor. I'm no expert on the subject but to my untrained eye, the colours and surface finish are convincing. I will use their G45 and B15 for my refit.

Hi Poddy and Mark,

Hi Gra,
what a nice boat, is it plank on frame or GRP, if it is GRP where did you get the hull from?
as most ready made hulls nowadays have the torpedo scallops in.
What drive are you using 2 or 4 motors?
I am going to build one, but I am spoilt for choice from the MTB to the MGB versions.
I have the Lampbert plans and the book, It is hard to choose.
Please keep the photo,s coming (close ups would be nice). :-)) :-))

Hi John,
Hull is a Deans Marine Kit.But the fittings are junk and went into the rubbish bin.
Deck is ply and fittings are scratch built. Two years to build so far.
I am using four motors, two Graupner speed 600 ecos and two 545 motors that i had.
Some photos following. Will try to get you some close ups next week.

I like that a lot!
I'm working on a railway layout with my son just now. I would love to get into my "Dog" build, but there always seems to be something need done before it. :((
All the best,
