Thought some of you lifeboat guys might be interested in these few photos of the Thurso, Longhope and Wick lifeboats enjoying an exercise with the coastguard helicopter at John O'Groats yesterday. Apologies for the quality but have had to resize them to post on the forum!

Do people actually live at near John O'Groats?
I thought it was just a tourist sign post or a name in the shipping news! %)

:-)) Not only do people live here but we've also got a great little Model Shop in John O 'Groats village, Bill (No names because I don't want to advertise without his permission) who runs it is also a crofter, local bus driver and member of the Coastguard !!! We've also got a fantastic Model Boat Club based in Thurso, the Pentland Model Boat Club. :-))
