Title: Wicksteed Park Children in Need

 :-)  Just to let you know Wicksteed MBC are holding a meet on 23rd August in aid of Children in Need.

It should be a great day, just like the Mayhem weekend in May (without the wind)

Is the date correct the 23rd of August is a Monday, no chance of that.

Sorry this is a general boating event, I can confirm that I got the date wrong it is on the 22nd Aug.
I do not know about entry charges but they will be asking for a donation per boat.

You need to get the date changed on the calendar listing and topic should be under the Club Events listings. Myself and 6705russell will probably come along for the day, all for a good cause, just hope the weather's ok!! Dave :-)) :-))

I cannot find any info on the main wicksteed site or on here, but am sure I have seen it. Also LDMBC has it listed on the calendar, but cannot get hold of Graham to ask!!!

I have contacted WPMBC for more info, but as yet, no reply. I and another member of Hinckley MBC will be going with subs.
The invite to the event came directly to our club from WPMBC. Sorry I do not have any more info. :o

A few more bits of information....

Several clubs have been invited also the warship association.

On arrival in form gate staff you are there
for children in need for free entry to the
park.Due to the nature of the event a
donation to the charity would be much
appreciated.Hope to see you Sunday.
