Anybody out there got any contact details for Paul need some info on the above tug he built for an article for model boats or does anybody else have this tug damen 1605

Have a plug half finished but little else.....

Hi Blazing penguin what scale are you doing it to I am thinking about 1/16 or 1/18 the info I wanted was the angle of the bullworks relative to the deck all the way around, are you working from plan any info would be very usefull

My plug is 30ins....so I think that comes out around 22nd scale or so.
Fair bit of rubbing down to be done and Im hoping to glue on the rubbing strakes underneath before I make the mould from the plug. Then if it comes out ok, I'll rip it up the middle...lay on some flanges and hopefully a mould at the end of it.

Thanks for the reply blazing penguin what plans are you working from or have you re scaled a commercially available hull  have you managed to locate any pictures apart from damen web site have you any pics of your hull

Got some others off the net, happy to send you file with those.
We also have two near Glasgow, Beaver Bay & Biter that we can photograph if we ask nicely.
I'll try to get something taken of the plug soon too.
