:-)Hi,
I have decided to have a go at sailing a Model Yacht for a change and have acquired the above model.
In trying it out at my club it was pointed ot that the winch ropes to both sail Booms wasn't connected correctly in as much that they had bee cut to short therefore leaving none frr for adjustment if required.
If any member knows of this model and has built one perhaps they could inform me if it is possible to "Re-rope" the model as mine seems to be all glued down.
Many thanks,
Ceres.

If it is the same as the Hobby Engine Killer Whales it is possible to take the sail winch out and re reeve the sheets.
The handbook should show you how
Glue a thin line to the jib sheet before pulling it out so you keep a line from the foredeck to the winch area to
allow you to re-reeve the new jibsheet.
If you bought it already built and have no handbook PM me your address and I will send you a copy of mine.
Whatever you do make sure you aways have some sort of cord running through the jibsheet deck fitting
Yours Aye

:-)Ned,
Thanks for your reply. The instruction has the word "Hobbyengine" on it, so I take it that yours and mine are supplied by the same company.
The manual does not give any indication as how you can re-sheet once complete so if I may I will PM you after I have sent this and perhaps you could Pm return with a copy of the relevant sheet.
Many thanks,
Ceres.

Work backwards on the page for fitting the sail winch servo
to take the winch out.
Use the existing jib and main sheets to thread the new sheets
through the hull then follow the instructions to wind the sheets onto the
winch drum and fit winch and servo into hull as instructed

and another forum based in the US - here is that link. http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1469084
Rcgroups.com has a very active forum on RC Sailboats if you are interested in comparing comments on various boats and tech talk.

The thread at RCGroups has a number of photos and videos - should that be of interest.
Good luck with your boat
