Title: Svitzer colours
Post by: captain ron on October 06, 2010, 12:15:08 am
Hi Guys,

Looking for the Halfords car paint colours that match Svitzer hull and superstructure.

Even the actual paint Ral Nos and I could get the paint mixed.

Is there a Plasticote/Humbrol/Tamiya or any other model paint manufacturers match.

Regards

Ron

Hi Ron
I got my spray paint mixed at my local car accessory shop. I got both the hull and superstructure colours done in semi matt.
This is the nearest match match to the Svitzer colours that I could find.

Hull – Ford Baltic blue.

Superstructure – Alabastro Piaggio-208/R+14G 9001

Hope this helps.

Here is a photo of my Spindrift.

The shade of cream they use has changed a couple of times I think . . . certainly a slight difference between international and the sigma they moved to when I was a deckhand for them . . . had to paint the whole boat!!!
