Title: has anyone used laminate to make a hull ??
Post by: steamboatbob on October 11, 2010, 11:00:05 am
just a quick question here guys i have come into some metal laminate which is 0.5mm thick with a brushed pewter finish and i was wondering if anyone has used this on a boat before i have 4 lengths @ 1 meter and was thinking of using it on a speed boat not on the running surfaces but juston the upper hull

any thaught provoking statements and comments will be very welcome

i was going to adhere it to my hull by using waterproof pva with a 10mm edge of 2 pac epoxy to hold it down  and was going to vacum bag it on and see how that worked
