Is it possible to get plans of modern day tugs ? I came across some photos taken in Birkenhead Docks,
One of the tug Smit Donau, It would make a terrific build, in my opinion. It doesn't seem to represent
any kit on the market at the present moment. I would like the opinion of fellow mayhemers please
Yours Tony. :-)

The Smit Mersey hull is a 3111, so it will be slightly larger than a 2810 but the same basic shape.
I am building a 2810 based on info I recieved on the 3213 and manipulated to the proper size for 1/48 -1/590 scale.

Oh yeah, I also modeled my Springer Tug deck and superstructure off of the 2810.
Most of which was derived from the availabe PDFs, and photographs.

Thanks Umi, Your superstructure inspired me in the beginning to try and find a tug to match.
how cool is that? :} If I can only emulate some of your skill, Ill be a happy man. Thanks for the info,
I can go back through your builds for inspiration. Thanka again Tony.
