A group attached an I phone to a large balloon which then went to the edges of space.

What I was surprised about was that when the Balloon Burst and the parachute deployed the camera phone only landed 30 miles away from the launch pad. I would have thought with the slipstreams etc it would have been thousands of miles away.  %%
