The Discovery Channel in Australia has been broadcasting a series called Mighty Ships, which I have found very interesting. The vessels featured so far this series have been the world's largest container ship, Emma Maersk, the world's largest livestock carrier, MV Becrux, and the world's largest car carrier, MV Faust.
I was particularly interested in story on the Faust, mainly because my middle son works for the ship's owners, Wallenius Wilhelmsen, as a Senior Systems Architect (whatever that means :D ) in Sydney. He was part of a team that wrote software to enable cars to be tracked from the manufacturers right through to individual dealers, as WW Logistics are responsible for the whole journey, including road transport.
