Title: Modifying/editing one's own post
Post by: roedj on November 10, 2010, 05:16:15 pm
I'm new to this forum but on the other fora I'm on there's always an "EDIT" button or something similar to edit your own post. I can't find it on this forum. I looked at the help section and it mentions a "MODIFY" button but I can't find that either. I just know it's probably staring me in the face but can someone please help me figure this out.

Thanks,

Dan

Dan, You can edit your post within 30 minutes of it being posted.

We had issues in the past with a member saying something later then modifying the original post to support it.  Consequently if it's a simple mistake you want to recitify you have the option but after 30 minutes you have to put a new post up.

Hi Dan, please see - http://www.modelboatmayhem.co.uk/forum/index.php?topic=26795.msg263367#msg263367

If there anything you really want to change. PM me a link to the post and the modified text and I'll sort it out for you.

OK, I understand. 30 minutes and then it's in stone (sort of).

One more quick question. How does one become a "FULL MAYHEMER" whatever that means?
