Hi all, if you are interested in scale model yachts, I can recommend the full size magazine Classic Boats December edition.
There are superb photographs of the construction of a 35 foot yacht with the total deck layout, including planking on the cover.
You can also see where all those ropes go!
Hope this will be of some assistance,
regards Roy

That is nice. What else do they do and how they help a yacht lover? Please share more information on it.

Hi,The magazine Classic Boat is freely available at £4.50 per copy. As in most magazines the content can vary but the photographs are big and superb, giving lots of build detail.
Internet contact is a simple search on Classic Boat magazine. Subscription is cheaper.
I have taken the magazine since the beginning when it was bimonthly.
I used to occasionally crew in a 42 foot sail boat, some years ago on the U.K. south coast. My last sailing was in my son's 32 foot 4 berth yacht, which is unfortunately, for me, moored in Brisbane Water, north of Sydney.
So it's model yachts for me! My favourite R.C. model yacht is a scale sail model of the 1934 Endeavour (1) at 42 inches loa and is based on the Amati kit.

They often have a line and section drawing accompanying articles, good enough to model from. I did my first working scratch yacht from one of theirs.
