Merci Christian, there was another Christian(Xtian) involved of course who smuggled it aboard a submarine at Brest naval base. It is now en route to Sweden from Denmark. Good to have you on Mayhem.  Perhaps you have some Springers in your club ?

Hello Pugwash !
Thank you for your reception. Foch and Charles de Gaulle belong to a friend of mine. He 's a member of the french forum "Les copains d'abord"
http://modelismenavalradioc.nouvellestar6.com/forum.htm and his username is Spanish84. He told me to insert his works on my blog. Every year, some members of that forum decide to organize a meeting somewhere in France to know each other.

Ah ha , good that the Springer is going to be a bit of fun, I think that is one of the best aspects of the marque. Little blue people for crew he he .   Perhaps the builder can be persuaded to post some progress pictures on Mayhem.
