hi all this is my latest tug build not that new as i won last years MMM tug towing championship and the mpba ship handling with john hughes with her but i have just found some of the photos of when i built her hope you like her shes just for tug towing and to my own designe and not yet finnished but wot boat is of mine.  :D

A bit of labelling and they would be even better. 8)

Thats an idea though.....different deckhouses...same hull?
Im toying with the idea of selling the 'Flying Duck' to fund another hull for single screw towing, any chance of a 'side-on' pic of a Portgarth hull Steve?

               ace photos ,very usefull espespecially the bow-thruster and woolies winch.
I'm off into the garage, i know theres some 40mm pipe in there someware,i may be gone some time !!

thats mean john i thought its a mans right to not finnifh jobs around the house. i will post some pics of portgarth hull and also ive got a smit pollen hull modified abit but looks ok im planning a bronco type tug i think  :)

HI ALL
         GOT SOME PIPE NOW ,STE ,JOHN  DO YOU PUT 12V OR 6V THROUGH THE MOTOR IN THE THUSTER? ,ALSO DOES IT WORK USING MICRO SWITCHS AND A SERVO? KATH SAYS WHY IS THE SINK LEAKING? ALSO STE THE WOOLY WINCH, WHAT VOLTAGE IS IT USING?THANKS FOR THE HELP. TIME US BLACKBURN LADS GOT SOME TECHNOLOGY OUR TUGS HA!!!

 :)hi Steve i use 12v 540 motors and for the winch i use a 2v 4amp gel cell. personally i would only use a speed controller for bow thruster and micro switches for the winch. oh and yes it is about time you BB peeps got into the 21st century you will really give us all a run for our money then he-he ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D
