Title: Robbe Sound Generators
Post by: Max Buoy on February 23, 2007, 05:52:16 pm

As part of the refurbishment of my Robbe Dusseldorf Fire Boat I am trying to fit the diesel & fog/siren sound generators but I do not have any wiring diagrams.....
Can anyone help... does anyone have any wiring diagrams or even a photo of the units installed showing the wiring????There are both of these generators 4 sale on eBay at present but units are factory packed and instructions are sealed within. I've asked for a photocopy but understandably they can't open up the packaging. I think these units (8276 & 8300) are standard across the Robbe range.

Max...

I should imagine a servo with a 'dual action' switches fitted will do the trick.

I use one of these the rotate left for switching on the lights,  and rotate right for switching on the fire hose.  I use the channel on the remote control   (Skysport 6)  with the turn pot, so as to not overdrive the bearings.  One switch could control the siren, whilst the other would control the diesel sound.

Hope this helps

Cheers...Ken
