Dear all, is there, or is there not to be a NE Model Boat Show this year?
I've heard "No", "Perhaps", "Maybe", "Yes", "Definitely" and all other permutations.
If, as I fear, the answer is "no"....then why not? Very poor advance publicity throughout this region could well have played its part, as (perhaps) did the timing of the event, reducing the "trader" attendance.
Nothing wrong with the venue.
Perhaps being only "Model Boats" was a factor?
My own belief is that a more encompassing show with Model Railways, Aircraft and Engineering etc. would have had more of an impact.
South Tyneside Council have, over the last few years, been very keen to improve, promulgate and otherwise do their best to extol the values and facilities of the area.....more than can be said for the North Tyneside bunch. So what's gone wrong? BY.

It is advertised in the March issue of Model Boats as being held on 9th April at Temple Park Centre as previously.
