Title: twin voith tug build

  hi all here is my latest project  a twin voith tug  38inch   loa   1;48th scale  its a hull from   canada ive had the hull about 4+years   but the last 18month ive decided to crack on with it  (although its still  not finished yet ;)  i am hopeing  this summer to be finished   regards ray

yep a3nige there is 2 of these voith tugs working in valdez 'alaska' owner's are crowley (seattle)  the  nanuq & tan'erliq  both sisters  153ft loa 10'000 hp 'cat's  & 16 knots   regards ray

Hi Ray   The 500e are a little slow revving if you are going to tow with her, They are OK if running light

  cheers steve  this one came from my canadian sourse :D  about 4 year ago but he  has sold the moulds / boats to a guy in  new york usa  ill dig out the web address   regards ray

A guy called Gary King produces the hulls, i think he is around the New York area.... :-))

well finaly had nanuq afloat :-)) (last sunday)  all went well  only problem one of the voith units leaked a bit   now fixed that  here is some photos of the first  trails :D regards ray
