Hi is any one using IE9 yet and what are your comments. :-))
-
Not yet but I'm using Opera for the first time in years, very impressed with the speed!
-
I downloaded one of the early beta's - not sure which one - and it worked. Went back to FireFox cos that's what I default to.
Haven't tried the latest beta. I didn't think it was released yet?!
-
i use it but when you download it the computer safety goes through the roof i cant access some model shops and it wont let me on hotmail and even if you start using the old one the safety on the computer stays the same im sure if you looked into it it would be easy to fix but i couldn't find the setting on this lap top
-
Downloaded and deleted in one frustrating day.
Oh that looks nice, will give that a go thought I.
Looks great until I tried to access my email, not a chance.
After a lot of nautical language I deleted IE9,
everything back to normal, including blood pressure.
Regards

Nine he says whatever happened to seven & eight ;) ;) ;)

They need to sort the bugs with IE 8 before moving onto yet another slow ***moderated*** explorer, i use Google chrome and have no load speeds, i down loaded IE 9 recently yet again slow as sin, got deleted about an hour after waste of my time, firefox, chrome, and opera are defiantly the way to go.
I'ld like to swap to a mac pc but the programs i use regually aren't compatiable :(( I hate windows! <*<\
***please do not use veiled swearing***

Same here
Downloaded and deleted within the hour.
No issues with Chrome :-)) :-))

Had it for a day and deleted it would not open any web mail sites may try full version when available, beta is what it is a trial to sort out issues happy to let others do that to old for problems

I've not had any of the issues above, but i have a problem typing into the eBay seach box, IE9 just closes, after about 2 letters.
I suppose the comments by other posters are beta versions not the one that came out yesterday.????
-
I use Opera its very good, Firefox takes too much time to load, Chrome is ok but is a bit spartan for my taste and IE, well it's as poor as ever.
I haven't seriously tried the Safari browser http://www.apple.com/safari/
-
Ill be leaving well alone... another firefoxer here
-
my one just lost all the data to so all my saved pages and settings for ie9 luckily it hasn't effected my laptop though
-
Betas are always risky.
Being at the cutting edge means that you hit all the obstacles. Best to sit back a bit and benefit from the experience of the trailblazers....

Yup - I'm a long-term user of Opera, and find that it's consistently fast and stable. It also leads the other major browsers for innovation (it was first with tabbed browsing, for instance, and it's 'paste and go' command is really useful). But most importantly, it has always been the most standards-compliant of all the browsers.
In particular it always scores high on the ACID test series. If you have IE, try the acid test here: http://acid3.acidtests.org/reference.html

Thanks for the comments , The Email I had from MS did not really say it was a Beta version but when looking into it further it is just by a different name. So I will stay with ie8. as I have no real issues. :-))
