Title: A non-standard Springer
Post by: jgeee3 on March 14, 2011, 09:18:23 am
I built the first of my  model  boats  in my 20th year of 60 years plus of making models of all kinds, locso, traction engines etc.

Recently attracted by interest in Springers and prompted by the posts on Mayhem I built a Springer. As I do not compete but model for the pleasure of it all, I have added a Springer to my fleet.

It is non-standard only in hull plan form , a minor modification. I hope that enthusists can forgive me that !

The boat performs well  without excessive heel  on turns although constructed in wood throughout. It can be seen on my site at www.johnsmodelmadness.co.uk  I will attempt to add an image here, but must be excused if I can't.
