Post by: Davy1 on March 23, 2011, 10:32:44 am
Just some advance warning of the Merstham Model Steam Show: dates are 21-22 May 2011.
A nice outdoor pool with an ace model show attached.
Long running event with plenty of model submarines.
All welcome!

It's specialised being predominantly railway modelling (chiefly garden railway) and marine.

More details on this show can be found at the organisers link- http://www.mmss.co.uk/

I've found them helpful in the past, and if they're following previous practice are happy to issue free tickets if you have a model of some description to bring along and display.

The clarity of the pool has been a bit of a mixed bag in the past, sometimes excellent sometimes murky. It's a small pool, so suits small to medium sized boats best.
