Title: canoe lake

 i have heard canoe lake is leaking but when i was walking the dog last week it was almost over flowing

Probably pouring in FROM the sea!
Big spring tides last week, they probably topped it up.

at least while there is a slight flow of water it helps keep the lake clear !

but the disadvantage is that it is almost tidal if it is going up and down with the sea


do you think there will ever be a day when canoe lake is watter less

 i know its been too low for my meter class yacht on a couple of occasions last summer , but ive been led to beleive that this was due to the pump failure but as we all know they have been working in that area for quite a while towards the end of last summer it should have been sorted by now ?  apparently in years gone by it was filled purely by the high tide , hence its current levels as we experienced the highest spring tides for several years last week .
