Hi all, and thank you peter for the mail.

Ive just joined up as Ive been reading the pages for a while now and getting back into model boats after some 20 years.
I Live in Worcester (UK) and and an electronics engineer designing power systems (battery chargers, management etc..) for leisure/marine and service sectors.
My other main hobby are woodwork and DIY, taught by my father who was a cabinet maker/boat builder.

So interested in wood, electronic gadgets/control, batteries and motors should be a good hobby to get back into.....

The plan is to get a no-frills boat built quite quickly to get out on the water.
Then start work on an Egrete Pusher tug which Ive liked tho look of ever since I saw it in MBM back in 88'.

Look forward to speaking to some of you over the years.

Welcome to the forum Jon - it's a great place to pick up information and usually somebody can help with
most problems you may come up against while building.
