Is it the Sea Trojan?

Nice chunky tug hull there, Larry, and 1:24 as well. Should make an excellent model. I agree with Roadrunner. Let your imagination and scratch experience shine through.

How about something with fire hoses and a 70 mm prop.   O0

If it is the Sea Trojan Models By Design still sell the hull, superstructure and Kort.

If that is the hull then this is the description from their website.

This is a great generic tug hull designed to take a wide range of builds. Tugs built on this hull include The Flying Dolphin, Mamba (Fossa) and Pelican. Various plans issued in the two monthly model boat magazines can be built on this hull.
Size: L:42"/1067mm W:9.5"/242mm H: 8"/203mm
1/24 Scale

I would make it up as I go along. The plan is there's no plan. Looking at pictures of tugs I would pick out the best type of cabin, funnels, and deck arrangements.

By measuring the space available, the parts would be cut to fit, rather than having pre made ill fitting parts.  Oh, the fun of scratch build.   ;)

You could start out by looking at the layout  for the Yorkshireman and Rotterdam for visual appeal.

Hope this helps

Ken

No Plan and a blank sheet can offer great modelling as the imagination can fill almost any blank..

The only thing I would really consider before cutting a single strip of wood is the Scale.
Does a guy want to fab everything from scratch?
Does a guy want to use readily available fittings and such?

Im thinkng that hull would suit any large scale.  1/12 to 1/48..even sneek in at 1/50
