Anyone tell me if the battery pack in the image attached will fit my (yet to arrive) Club 500?

If its a standard 6 cell "Tamiya Racing Pack" design then yes it will

Thanks, Essex old chap..fingers crossed it will then. Should give me a decent run time, methinks.

The club 500 rules state using 2200 7.2v packs, however our club use 2500 packs giving about 15 mins run time
If you want to just knock around then any size 7.2v battery will do, but the run times will still be around the 15-20 mark
Get some 2500 packs here around the £10 mark (don't know why 2200 are more expensive?)

I bought two of the packs in the pic ages back for £25 the two from Howes in Oxford, they were advertising them as batteries for bait boats.
If I get fifteen minutes duration out of each pack I'll be more than happy.
Oh, and Essex...they do fit the battery tray!
